Base and adapter for the Bat System. Includes the small, medium, and large bats.
Note: For Ø30 and above, there is an option to get an extra frame adapter so you can use 20x20 plates (also available in the shop as XL plate pack).
Can also be made in MDF or wood.
MDF bats are made of wood, so we do not recommend leaving pottery projects on the bats for extended periods. Wood can warp when exposed to moisture, especially if items are left on too long.
The Bat System can also be used for edge straightening or for handbuilding (consider pulling a nylon stocking over the cone for easier clay release).
Small: 5-10 cm cone, 8 cm high
Medium: 7-12 cm cone, 8 cm high
Large: 11-15 cm cone, 6.5 cm high
The colors are assorted, but if you want one or more specific colors, just write to us; this may however extend the delivery time.
Can be customized to the size you want. This also applies to the bat part, which can also be customized in round shape.
If your potter’s wheel has no pins? No problem! Just place a chamois underneath the bat system, and it will stay stable in place.
