Ceramic Mold – Muffin Baking Mold
Create your own ceramic muffin molds with this simple and smart mold – perfect for those who want to create their own small bowls or baking molds in clay.
You cut a circle in, for example, 5 mm sheet clay, place it on top of the mold, and shape it – either with your hands or by using a foam block to press gently and evenly. You can also shape it internally, if you want a smaller variant – both methods yield beautiful and uniform results.
The mold measures Ø70 mm and is ideal for small snacks, tapas, tealights – and yes, you can certainly bake muffins or small cakes in them after firing, as a reusable alternative to paper molds.
👉 Just remember to use food-safe glaze, if the molds are to be used for food.
Note: To release the clay without losing shape, the mold must be covered with a nylon stocking, before laying the clay on it.
The material does not tolerate hot water over 50 °C, but can be easily cleaned with a soft brush or cloth in lukewarm water.
